Welcome to the latest edition of Four Putts. I hope not too many of you have had the misfortune to have the odd four putts while golfing at Bright. In the middle of November, the Club hosted the NEDGA Championships. It was interesting to see how an event of this type was conducted.
Only 29 players teed up on Sunday 16th of November. I for one, wasn’t the only Bright golfer who was only aware of the event in the latter stages of registration. Next year’s Championships will be played at Mt Beauty, and there will be adequate publicity next year for the event in the Four Putts newsletter.
Bright’s sole entries were Cameron Wickes and Angus Murrells. The new Match committee has just held its first meeting, and those members are, Graham Badrock, Tina Cook, Chris O’Shea, John ‘OShea, Phil Jessen, Kevin Reed, Mark Stephenson, Berine Wickes and Nick Aloizos
